Jordan Anderson Transported to Hospital after Talladega Wreck UPDATE

UPDATE:  NBC Sports reports that Jordan Anderson is being treated for burns on his arms, knees and neck. He could be released from the hospital this evening.

ORIGINAL POST: Jordan Anderson was transported by helicopter to a Birmingham hospital after a fiery crash during Saturday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Talladega Superspeedway.

Anderson’s No. 3 Chevrolet erupted in flames and smoke as he entered Turn 1 during the 19th of a scheduled 94 laps in the Chevy Silverado 250. The 31-year-old driver’s truck slid toward the paved apron and came to a halt against the inside retaining wall.
